The new focus of SBN business networking is here. Here’s what you can do to get started…

It’s exciting that we can now link our websites together and start collaborating.

A combination of effective SEO, blogging, social media, reciprocal links and new content will make Google increase all of our websites ranking because you are associated with the new SBN website.

To get this started here’s what you need to do:

  1. Add a link in the footer of your website. Add this text - ‘Severn business network’ to the Footer of your website and add this website link to that text https://www.severnbusinessnetwork.uk/ You’ve now created a reciprocal link. Ask David or Lucy if you need help with this.

  2. Check your listing on the members page on this website. This members page is out of date and many new members aren’t on there. Some member’s info is out of date. If you aren’t included or your listing is out of date or incorrect tell David or Lucy and they’ll get it updated. This is where the SBN website links to your website - the other part of the reciprocal link. Reciprocal links are a powerful SEO tool.

  3. Do you have any news this week about your business or what you’re doing outside of your business? We’ll add your news as a blog in this News section. Blogging is the most effective way to increase your ranking on Google. Imagine the power of this when all 30 of us are adding blogs to our websites.

  4. For next month choose the member who will be the first to be in the ‘Spotlight. You can read about the monthly ‘Spotlight’ under ‘What do I get as a member’ on the Home page of this website.

Remember we’ll help you get these things in place. It will look a bit daunting at the moment and we don’t want anyone to have to struggle with this. Just give David or Lucy a shout and they will help you get on-board.
