The modern style of business working.
Our way of networking is relatively new. We still make referrals face to face but our collective strength in terms of getting Google to notice our individual businesses has been transformative for many.
“ “Becoming a member and linking my business and blogs to the SBN website and social reach has hugely improved my online presence. The SBN influence has been incredible.”

The Fees
If you get stuck in wholeheartedly as soon as possible then there truly isn't a cost at all - it will in fact rapidly generate income!
In order to cover the costs of breakfasts and the room hire, we collect £60 per month per member (no VAT - remember, this is a not-for-profit group so any surplus funds generated throughout the year will go towards charitable causes!).
Still unsure?
Ok, ask yourself where else you could find nearly 40 sales people working directly each month to find new business for you for just 60 quid and five or six hours of your time?
Easy decision. We'll look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
The Format
SBN meets every Thursday morning at the Shropshire Wildlife Trust Centre - 193 Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury.
The meetings start at 07:00 and end around 08:30-09:00. The early start and finish allows us all to return to our respective operations for opening time and not miss an opportunity.
The weekly commitment (even when it's dark and cold) provides us all with the reassurance that we're dealing with dedicated, like-minded people.
It's always a bit daunting during the first couple of visits - especially if you're not used to talking within a large group. Please do remember though that we've all been there and done it ourselves!
Run by the members.
The group is run by a small group of members. It runs little like a business does and everybody has their say. There are rules just like any business and the way we work is transparent and it’s a refreshing change from the old style SBN.
While the format of the morning meetings remains broadly structured, we're free to keep it fresh and create new ways to promote our businesses amongst each other and our extended individual network of contacts. We also plan activities to raise money for our current nominated charity and organise social events as a group too.
In short, we're a group of professionals who also like to have a bit of fun in business!
Social events, Fundraising and Fun
As well as our weekly breakfast meetings, SBN has a packed programme of informational, networking, fundraising, and social events to help our members to make connections, learn new skills, and have fun!
